Cell. The ultimate being. Perfect. Alien, almost. Ugly, but beautiful nonetheless. An android. Not human. Not real. Cell.

His name brought fear to those who knew of him and his intentions. His name brings to mind the vision of a giant man with wings whom resembles a cockroach. Cell, whose antics killed thousands and thousands of innocent people. Cell, who started a tournament, just to show off.

Cell. Who was insulted by a girl.* <read Final Battle>

Cell, who'd waited ever so patiently for this moment. He was about to fight Goku.

He'd beaten the other pathetic trio that consisted of Hercule, Karoni and Piroski. But they'd been easy. Cell hadn't even needed to move.

Now, it was time for a real challenge. Cell, the ever so graceful, hated by everyone android, stood and watched his new opponent step onto the arena's platform on which they would construct their battle.

Goku's hair flashed golden, his green eyes piercing into Cell's soul with the look of determination that made Cell hope he was just a little stronger. Cell didn't need to admit it, but he was scared. He knew what Goku was like. Goku's cells that flowed through his veins told Cell just exactly what he needed to know. Who Goku was. How he came to be. And, how strong he would become. But Cell had wasted time. Instead of preparing for battle, he'd waited. Now he wasn't so sure.

"I've been waiting for this moment," Cell growled. Goku responded with a smug smile. His clothes ruffled in the wind that blew, his smile not fading for an instant.

He was excited. Goku was bursting inside. He could hardly wait to give up and let his son do the work. He knew as well as...well he did that Gohan had exceeded Goku's very own strength level.

Gohan would show Cell a thing or two. All Goku needed to do was see just how tough Cell was.

This would be the fun part.

Goku smirked again, and smoothed a wrinkle in his orange shirt. "Well Cell, shall we begin?"

        And so, it started.

The battle that no one would forget. For the rest of their lives.
